Debatably legal an hard to prove unless you have a copy of what he sells.


Correction, that picture is the same one from here so that is at least a copyright violation right there but the owner would have to be the one to push it.

I contacted the seller through ebay with this question: "Aren't these the same plans that can be found on Backyardchickens.com for free? Looks like outright theft to me". He answered within a half-hour or so with this response: "My daughter got these plans from a friend. You are correct. Deleting add thank you very much for pointing this out".
