Washing eggs

I don't wash until ready to use, however
today with all the rain, the eggs were a little
more dirty than usual. Will wash tomorrow, then
refrigerate.
I agree, my family nevers washes the eggs until a few minutes before we eat them. The reason we do this, is because if you wash the eggs and then refrigerate them, the bacteria gets pushed back through the shell and into the egg.
 
Most of our eggs go to other people and I can't let them go with poop on them. So I clean them and once they've been cleaned, they HAVE to go in the fridge since the bloom is partly off. I guess it's the chance we have to take but so far no complaints. I think as long as they're dried off they would be fine.
