"She was injured when the furies came in the shop. She didn't say anything until we landed, and then it was too late to save her." Vera shook her head again "She wanted to be sure I was safe before getting help for herself."
"Oh, I'm so sorry, do you need any help around the shop much, then?" James asked.
Vera looked around the shop and sighed softly "I probably will need to hire someone." She glanced to James "I haven't thought about it too much, yet."
"Well, I'll make sure to stop by every once in a while, make sure everything's o.k.," He said, he was staring into her eyes,"You have the most beutiful brown eyes, Vera."
Vera blushed and looked away "Thank you"
James blushed, just realising what he said,"Sorry, didn't mean to embarrass you, Lady."
"You can call me Vera" She said softly, looking at him again
He stared into her eyes,"O.k., though you look, and act, like such a lady, Vera."
"Thank you" Vera said softly
