Looks like it's two-toned? With blue at the bottom and white around the nostrils? If so, I'd say girl. Males have an even-colored cere when young and females are more two-toned like that.

I would agree.... while I was a breeder kind of I would never say I was an expert....

Doesn't it have to do with the color of that band across the top of the beak, whatever it's called?

Cere is what its called... I cant give yuou the etemology... probably some scientists idea....

Very young... less than six months Id say.. The Cere becomes all flesh colored once they mature sexually. and it also gets kind of like a nose with sunburn and peeling... still flesh colored.

Another way to tell is the scales on the legs in a young bird will be smooth and flexible.... I have no ide how to tell other than that...
