Evening Pond. Up late preparing for a yard sale tomorrow. Hopefully I sell a bunch of stuff I don't need any more, lol. Then the money can go towards replacing the emu pasture fence.

I'm training Pixel to let me brush her teeth. So far so good, she's now getting used to me sticking a finger in her mouth. I swear my parents think I'm crazy when I talk about it. Brushing your dog's teeth was just not a thing when they last had a dog. Now it's considered the gold standard of dental care for dogs, so I'm doing it.

Here is the little teenaged puppy monster in her new bandana.

Pugs teeth are the worst because of the shape of their heads. I need to get my new little refuge in the habit. Can I ask what type of brush & paste you use?

I'm just gonna use a finger brush, since she's small enough. I'm using Petsmile toothpaste, as it's the only one that is approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. I picked Rotisserie Chicken flavor. They also have London Broil and Vanilla Mint. I might try the vanilla next time because she is a fiend for vanilla. She will mug you for a Nilla Wafer.

Actually just got back from the vet with the poor girl. Bladder infection Noticed this morning she kept trying to pee in tiny amounts so off we went. One emergency fee later we have antibiotics. Ah well, this is why I have pet insurance.
