Picked up a couple game hens yesterday. Pretty little things. Just about at POL too. Black one maybe laying, the other two aren't quite there yet.

Oh..... the trip!

My mama is coming up again... but she is changing planes in Chicago, and I am going to meet her there... spend a few days to take photos of all of the dead relatives that I never have seen... and then we will fly together up to Alaska for her summer vacation.

This means I will drive us from Anchorage down to my house. It has been many years since she has been on that drive... so she is looking forward to it.

I bet it's a beautiful drive.

Thanks. That’s my only current pastel drake. He is pretty much in total eclipse now.
The summer transformation they go through still amazes me.
