No Easter eggs on my lily pad. But I did find a vanilla cream chocolate egg and a chocolate Easter bunny.

Had a game chick hatch yesterday, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be spangled when it feathers out, already has white coming in on the wings. Parents are both BBR but dad shows signs of spangling though not technically spangled himself, he's got some white in the wings and tail. So here's hoping

My housemate went for a walk. I told her to leave the wildlife alone (she ain’t all there). She did not. I now gave a goose egg under a heat lamp.

Hello, Pond!

Had the local grandkids over for a sleepover last night. 4 1/2 year old GD crawled in with me around 1:30. I saw 4:30 come and go before I fell back asleep. Trying to sleep next to that child is like sleeping next to a heater disguised as an octopus that requires a minimum of four points of contact at all times. And then her brother woke up at 7:00 this morning…. Thankfully Grandma has plenty of caffeinated beverages in the house. We got some chocolate chip cookies made, they went to the shop with Grandpa for a bit and we made a snowman. It was a good day. Despite the lack of sleep, I will treasure these times as I know that if I blink, they’ll be gone.
