What Breed and Sex

Good afternoon all. New here, but have read and digested a lot of knowledge from this website.

We recently received some free chickens from a school teacher. I was hesitant to take them because I didn't know what sex they were because we wanted these chickens to be our egg layers. Needless to say, I think we have two roosters and two hens. If you guys can tell me what breed and sex they are would be great. Thanks.

These are cockerels, unfortunately. They're mixes, assuming both come from the same parents

I'd consider it as a possibility, but the bird in the back doesn't have a straight comb and has a crest. Still a possibility though
