What breeds are more dominant?

I have a Black Australorp that goes broody every year, and was a really great mom when she raised chicks. She's also very dominant, and is the top hen in the flock. You should definitely look into Australorps.

Cochins love to be broody, bantam ones especially! Mine are definitely able to hold their own in my flock too—although my sassy bossy Silkie Betty White rules over them anyway My English Orpington also loves to be broody and we call her big Momma cuz no one bothers her
