I'm trying to figure out what color my white silkie rooster is underneath. These chicks are out of two salmon faverolles hens he covered, and my friends and I are just stumped. I've never seen color like this! Some came out with heavy brown barring over black, and some came out with lighter brown barring with birchen necks. Is that some sort of sex link?
