I just have five hens. I know that's nothing compared to a lot of you who have TONS of different breeds, but I personally, love small flocks! Makes it easier to bond with them all and discover so much about each of them. So I have three buff orps, one speckled sussex and one EE mix.

Two EEs, one roo, one hen. two barred rocks, one columbian rock cross, one buff Brahma, one Australorp and three silkie roosters. The ladies are getting on in years so next year I'm going to try to get some Buckeyes and let them the older ladies retire gracefully, if they still lay now and again, great, if not they deserve their rest.

Including our ducks we have:

5 Indian runners
2 Mallards
4 Black australorps
3 Buff orpingtons
2 Light brahmas
2 Easter eggers
1 Cochin
4 Brown leghorns

Our older girls (the ones out in the coop but not old enough to lay) are as follows:

1 red new Hampshire
1 easter egger
1 black sex link

They are all barnyard mutts. I was told by the lady I got them from they were Welsummers and Barnavelders.

The 3 week old littles in the brooder are:

1 Salmon Faverolles
1 Light Brahma
1 Buff Brahma
1 Silver Laced Wyandotte
1 Colombian Wyandotte

These girls are from a hatchery.

I'll be adding to the flock next spring. I'd like to add a Cochin or Salmon Faverolles rooster. But I will be adding a Blue Orpington, Buff Orpington, Lavender Orpington, Gold Laced Wyandotte, olive egger and another easter egger from a hatchery. If I can find a Jubilee Orpington I'll try and convince my DH we need one. ;) If the feed store has chicks when this current group go out to the coop I might get a pair. They normally have Dominiques.

I lumped several into the backyard mix group, mostly because I don't know where to begin on identifying their breed. I have a few guesses, but nothing solid.
