What do you think of this feed?

I have pop/mom feed stores. That's what I was thinking of feeding--a 20% feed. Now, if I could just find it! I see Purina and Nutrena Nature Wise have the 20% Starter/Grower, but the people at the feed stores look at me like they have no idea what I'm talking about!

Both of these feeds are 18% Protein. I am using the Purina Start & Grow to feed my 27 month old hens, with Oyster Shells in a separate container.
I would buy either feed, and my local TSC carries both. But I only have 3 hens and I can get a 25# bag of Purina, Nutrena is a 50# bag and a large bag goes bad before its used up.
Show them these pics and if they have both, get the freshest bag. 20180630_072045.jpg . 20180630_071817.jpg . GC

Thank you! I just ordered some Nutrena Naturewise Starter/Grower online. I'm going to try out the 7 lb. size for now and see how things go. I will have to check at my TSC. I'd forgotten all about them. And you're right--any more than a 25 lb. bag would go bad for me too before it was used. I'm betting they only carry the 50 lb., but I'll check anyway.

I have several pullets and a hen that are laying, and two --11 week old pullets. What do you think of this feed? It lists ingredients, etc. They don't carry All Flock or Flock Raiser around here for some reason.

I wouldn't by that. This seller could have an OLD bag of feed for all you know. Buy from a known company.
What brand is it?

It doesn't state the brand, which I thought was very strange. I just ordered some samples (and paid shipping only) just to see what it looks like. I'm going with Nutrena, as stated above.
