Ok so last Saturday my middle son just had to have a couple bantams. One passed within 12hrs of getting it (I warned him it didn’t look the greatest when he picked it). They came from tractor supply in a bin labeled with polish and “assorted” bantams SR. Can’t rely on the employee to know the breed as a clearly Wyandotte chick he tried to tell me was an australorp. 🥴 anyhow neither here or there… so what is this little wee Bam? Has furry feet, super tiny, and black/white feathers coming in. I thought marbled Cochin from my google search lol but idk it doesn’t quite fit what the example pictures of chicks I’ve seen. Not as darkly marked patch and it didn’t go up to the top of the head. Also is this one gonna frizzle? The feathers stick out vs lay flat. I hope not, just never been a fan of the polish nor any type of frizzled chicken. 🥴😂 I guess it isn’t my chicken so my son will have fun with that.

It’s cute as a button though and sooo much smaller than the other chicks it’s brooding well with. (Wyandotte and lav. Orpington)

As everyone else has said, it definitely looks like a light brahma bantam! He/she is so cute.

I agree with the consensus for a light Brahma bantam. Here is the little one today. Cute as a button.

I’m not thinking this is a Brahma bantam anymore LOL we are now about 3 months old and look more like some kind of Cochin? Very fluffy tiny thing! The Brahmas I’ve seen are not nearly so poof-y. No idea if this is a roo or pullet though. We call him/her Sheldon. 😂 what do y’all think? Did I get a boy or a girl? 🤭
