Here's my mystery chick. Doesn't look rare or exotic. I'm new to chickens and don't know what it is. Does anyone know? It has a few black specks on it's back.

I had one just like that... I think it's a the whiting true blue that they sell ( only thing that makes since) I'll post chick photo and a now photo. Suppose to lay a blue egg... we will see :)

This is embarrassing..... bbrierly you have to be right seeing how I ordered 5 Whiting True Blue in my order of 15. I'm so new I don't even know which one is my mystery chick.

This one was different then all the rest so I assumed it was my mystery chick.

I'm still new at this ... it took me forever to figure out what she was... I posted on several facebook post of chicken sites to figure it out ... I had several people say California white... but Murray McMurray Hatchery doesn't sell those... someone said whiting true blue so I looked it up on Google and found a pic that looks just like her

I sure am curious which of my chicks is my mystery chick. I ordered 3 different breeds. Whiting True Blue, Dominique, and Easter Egger. The Dominique are obvious. The Easter Egger is somewhat obvious. It's the Whitings that throw me off. They don't have chick pictures because they said they can have many different looks as a chick. I think a few look like the Easter Eggers. It will be exciting to see them grow and distinguish who's who.
