WHAT YA GOT SWAP Chat Thread

I have kept Cornish X hens productively without free ranging them. As long as they are not confined to a cage, they are just as active as any other large fowl breed. The key is in regulating their feed so they cannot eat themselves to death. And contrary to the belief of a lot of people that post on this site, keeping them from killing themselves by over eating can be done without starving them.

So I have another question.. Me and codieshell has worked out what we are doing about the swap.. But the member said they are shipping in an egg carton... Is that safe?

I just received eggs shipped in a carton and they arrived just great!

Thank you @Ray_n_Debi!! Not one cracked and almost every air cell is perfect!! :)

ETA: the key is having them wrapped first so they don't rattle around... :)

I just have to brag! I got my eggs from @RavynFallen and I've never received shipped eggs in such perfect condition. Not one air cell even a little wiggly. Not one fracture! I don't know what kind of magic was used to make the delivery go so smoothly but my heck I couldn't be happier!
