Nine Silkie eggs, three thermometers, one water wiggler and a hydrometer. If the equipment starts to multiply, I will sell the offspring on E-bay!

But once Spring comes and the bator is ready, I will place either Red Star/RIR eggs in, Buff Orp/RIR eggs in, Red Star/Splash Cochin eggs in, Buff Cochin/Splash Cochin eggs in, Splash Cochin/Buff Orpington eggs in, OR RIR/Buff Cochin eggs in. These are all from our own chickens. We have lots of choices! Not sure if we will get any more chickens between now and then but that's what we are planning on right now. We have 1 RIR rooster, 4 Red Star hens, 2 Buff Orpington hens, 1 Splash Cochin Rooster, and 2 Buff Cochin female chicks. We just plan on mixing them all up and seeing what we get! LOL

It will be interesting to see what kind of mutt chicks we hatch out!
