Yes, I have, thank you. I was beginning to think I was the only Englishman on the forum because everyone here is from America! I know Nottinghamshire quite well, although I know Derbyshire and, of course, Staffordshire better. What birds do you keep?

I have 17 adult hens and 7 10week old chicks. And 4 quail and 8 racing pigeons with one sat on 2 eggs! And the wifey has rabbits and guinea-pigs! It's quite a zoo back here! What do you have?

I keep around 20 breeding show-winning ducks and geese, as well as 250 mallards and around 200 pheasants. Do you have any ducks?

No. I feed the wild ones on the river though! How come you have so many ducks and pheasants?

We live on a Georgian estate, so we have hundreds of acres of land and forestry as well as 4 large ponds and a lake.
Due to this, wild pheasants come in to feed and roost and, of the 250 mallards, around 200 are wild, so just stay on the pond, but about 50 are semi-tame, so they come up to us and will then nest. Do you have mallards on the river?

No. I feed the wild ones on the river though! How come you have so many ducks and pheasants?
