Who puts vinegar in egg salad?

I hard boiled two dozen duck eggs this morning.( The oldest ones I had so they were easier to peel… they were about 5 weeks old) i made egg salad .
i add
mayo
Salt
Pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
paprika
Finely chopped onions
Finely chopped celery

But one of my daughters insists, I’m supposed to add some vinegar….. ?!?
