What breed of hen laid that whopper of an egg?! Has anyone noticed the size of eggs in the grocery store? Large looks like medium, and medium looks like small, now, and you hardly ever get a double yoker anymore out of the jumbo sized eggs.

I'm not sure who laid it and there hasn't been a repeat of the size....thank goodness!! I've got BR, Marans (not dark enough for theirs) Welsummers and one RIR who I don't think has started laying again, and couple of Marans cross pullets.
