Wound care advice, please

Dry is good. That wound looks pretty close to what the dogs did to my ducks. I gave penicillin to them as a precaution. You know - predators mouth( who knows where thats been?)- open wound. Mine were both male though so I didn't have to worry about eggs. Probably just feed normally maybe some extra protein and calcium containing treats and keep her somewhere dark to keep her from laying too much. We had good luck with the blukote , hopefully you do too.
