Wow, weasels are relentless buggers!

Apparently the weasel rode the bird for a distance without releasing it. Amazing that something so small can be such a deadly predator. I am more scared of losing my birds to a weasel than any other predator. This picture substantiates my fears.

Thanks for posting that, it is an amazing set of photos, one lucky woodpecker. And x2 weasels are scary little predators.
