I, for one, am very excited to see the new site up!
As a new "about to be" owner, I am looking forward to all the excitement of raising chickens and learning from the help of folks like you all.

Welcome to the world of chickens. It surely is a lot of fun. Just to let you and other members know the Northeastern Poultry Congress is having there annual show at the Mallary Complex at the Eastern States Expo Center in West Springfield, Mass. this coming weekend (Jan. 13 & 14). I went to the show last year and it was wonderful. You are able to see the very best of every breed of chicken (some know to me and some I had never heard of). If you live in the New England area it's worth a trip.
