Some resemble my barred rock babies. A lot.
Although I know it's not uncommon for certain breeds to resemble eachother as chicks. This one I'm unfamiliar with.

First single photo doesn't so much as the darker one. Do they just vary in shades?

I can't tell you if your littles are SOE for sure, but I can tell you that the blue-based chickens definitely do vary in shade from dark to light. Some look almost black as chicks while others look much lighter. If these were labeled as SOE then I'd say there's a pretty good chance that is what they are. Only time will tell though...
