Could hot weather cause a yokeless egg? Found this today. The one next to it was her egg from 9/2 (53 grams)- hasn't laid the past 2 days - and today this 16 gram yokeless egg. It was very gelatanous. IMG_1741.JPG IMG_1742.JPG

We have had very hot weather for the past 4 days- high 90's to 110 - and staying very warm all day long. The other 2 hens are laying a bit less than normal, but are laying regular eggs.

Hmmm... I'm questing that they are doing that because of the heat
