Young goose walking on tiptoes

How much of the B complex are you giving her and how often?

According to poultryDVM phosphorus dosage for ducks is 0.4% of their diet
Dosage of vitamin D for ducks is 3000 iu/kg
That site only has information for ducks and chickens, ducks like geese have higher nutritional requirements than chickens so when in doubt go with what’s listed for ducks because there isn’t really anything out there for geese.

Vitamin D is non water soluble so there are risks of overdose you need to watch for. https://poultrydvm.com/condition/vitamin-d-deficiency

Poultry nutri-drench and rooster booster poultry cell have a lot of D3 so there probably isn’t a need to get individual d3 supplements, they’ll be fine.

Phosphorus supplements are trickier to find so you can encourage her to eat phosphorus rich foods which includes sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds too.

Thank you for the information. Yes I was worried about overdose so I was doing about every other day. I was giving her no more than 1.4 ml(on the syringe) per day. How much and how often should I do the poultry cell you think?

That’s good news if she’s improving!
I’m hoping she is. Just feel like there’s more I should be doing for her. Believe me it was a big improvement from that day when I posted she was not doing so good. She was really waddling and struggling to walk, talking small steps. I’m still giving her the poultry cell but not as often as you had mentioned due to the timing in the evening. But try to give as soon as can.

Hopefully it’s doing the job.
