Open air with lots of roosts allowing the girls plenty of sun or shade and breezes. Coop is framed from unfinished 2x4s and the flooring and back area are from my brothers old dock. I had my husband put in shelves for my coffee cup and wine glass for when I sit and visit the girls. See progress at https://www.backyardchickens.com/gallery/album/view/id/6180731/user_id/126326

Your gallery link is broken, sadly, would love to see more though as the design looks interesting.

The coop itself looks like a great design for hot climate housing.

Unfortunately, the article is so sketchy that it's not likely to be helpful to people looking for a coop they can build for their own chickens.

This looks like a nice airy design for hot weather locales. Wish there was more detail on how it was built.
