Additional InformationSECTION 210.120: PENS FOR CHICKENS AND OTHER DOMESTIC FOWL No person shall keep chickens or other domestic fowl in any pen unless it shall have an area equal to twelve (12) square feet for each fowl kept therein; nor shall any person keep chickens or other domestic fowl in any coop, building or structure, the exterior boundary of which is within one hundred (100) feet at the nearest point from any dwelling house, place of business of another, a church or school. SECTION 210.160: MAINTENANCE OF STABLES, ETC. -- ENFORCEMENT -- ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE A. It shall be the duty of the Police Department, any Animal Control Officer or City Code Enforcement Officer to enforce the provisions of Sections 210.140 and 210.150. B. It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct any Police Officer, Animal Control Officer or Code Officer in the lawful discharge of his/her duty under this Section; and any person who shall violate, neglect, fail or refuse to comply with any provision of Sections 210.140 and 210.150 shall, on conviction thereof, be punished as provided in Section 100.110 and if it shall appear to the Judge of the Municipal Court or its successor that the violation complained of continues to exist, the Judge shall make an order directing the Chief of Police, Animal Control Officer or Code Enforcement Officer to abate such violation forthwith and immediately to report the expense thereof to the court who shall as part of the cost of such prosecution render judgment against the defendant for the amount of such expense, which shall be collected as other fines and costs.
