Here is our coop we put together with mostly scavenged and recycled materials. We live in a very wet climate and moderate cold in the winter so we made a run partially under the coop for the girls to get out of the rain. We dug deep around the foundation to put in brick and try to keep the digging predators out. Recently added an electric fence after a visit from Mr. Bear. Coop is insulated with rigid foam. Access doors on right for nesting boxes and food/water. Access doors on left for clean out so we could pull the wheelbarrow under to catch the used material. Custom glass window to let the girls have flowers year round.
