Just started with three chicks this spring. Had a small pre-built coop....as the girls grew it became apparent that they were going to need more room. Hubby had an old shed he had wanted to tear down and rebuild for several years, so he decided it would be a shed/coop and asked me to draw up what I wanted. After looking at what seemed like thousands of designs, I drew up what I wanted and Hubby made it happen. It took about a month of weekends, evenings, and days off, but in the end it is totally worth it. To top it off, we added an automatic door so we don't have to worry about the girls if we go away for a few days!
