Under-Deck Enclosure

I have a raised deck at my house, and thought to myself, I'll make this one big run! With 4x4 posts and California-style chain link fence around the perimeter of the bottom of the deck, we have made it completely enclosed. My chicks now have 180 square feet to stretch their legs comfortably.

Nice idea but no how to make/build info on the page.

With a few modifications, this would make a pretty nice run for a small flock. The chain link won't contain young chicks or keep a predator like a raccoon from grabbing a bird. And I'm not sure, but it doesn't appear to have an apron around the perimeter to prevent anything from digging under the chain link. A couple of things I like about this idea...no flying predators like hawks will be able to fly in the run. Plus there's plenty of human head room!
