Thanks to this website I had no worries building this project. I took many ideas from here and built this with materials that I had laying around. (The siding and some hardware I had to buy.) My coop is insulated for our cold north Idaho winters and I made it exactly tall enough so that when I have to clean it my wheel barrel fits right under the door. There is a removable vinyl floor to make it easy to clean. The girls seem very happy and are growing fast! This has been a great experience and I recommend that anyone who is on the fence about having backyard chickens should take the plunge. We haven't even harvested any eggs yet but are already so satisfied. Next on the to do list is a larger feeder for their run and a 3 gallon waterer for the run.I saw some Australian dude on you tube who made a feeder with a 4" 90* plumbing elbow and an old garbage can. I'm pretty sure I have all that laying around so I'm gonna get on it. I will post results.

Great little coop. I like the idea of making the coop high enough to fit a wheelbarrow under for cleaning. Would love to see how it was put together, and what materials were used.
