I've always wanted chickens so finally a couple of years ago I built one. It took me about a month and a half of weekends and after work to get it done but I am pleased and impressed that I built it all by myself (not bad for a gal). I found the plans for it online.
In the last couple of years I have made a couple of renovations on the run but overall it is sound and my girls are happy.
