Being new to the game of raising chickens in my backyard I took the advice on the forum and returned the cheap coop I ordered and bit the bullet and purchased all materials for a coop and a run. I was so excited. The guy that wrapped our patio ceiling in cedar said he could put the 8x12 shed I bought to make it a coop and add the 8x12 run. I observed and talked and explained about installing the hardwire cloth and cutting ventilation in the shed as well as the cut out for the nesting boxes and the cut out for my automatic door. I became concerned when it appeared I would no longer use caulk to seal crack but spray foam insulation as the cracks were too wide. He assured me he would fix it. Long story short he built the run as a seperate entity and tried to attach to shed. EPIC FAIL. the gap between the two are ridiculous and it's not even straight. Needless to say we asked him not to return. I have now invested over $3000 in materials and labor and still have no coop and run.
With all that said. How can I attach the run and the coop without tearing down the run and starting over with it?
We tried pushing it toward the coop but it is too heavy. It is a 8x12 sloped roof run.? Any suggestions or ideas? I attached photos
