I currently have 2 coops (1 for ducks and 1 for chickens), however I don't really have any pictures of the process of making my chicken coop, so here's a really poor explanation of how I made my duck coop
DISCLAIMER: there will be missing steps as I did not originally intend to fully document the process.
First, I had to acquire a base for the coop
I got this for free from a friend. It used to be a rabbit hutch.
Then I removed the bottom and added boards to make attaching hardware cloth easier (line shows where I cut):
I then made some doors to put on the back to make cleaning easier. I just modified some doors that came with it:
I added hardware cloth where needed and stained the whole thing, but I apparently didn't get a picture of that step.
NOTE: This is just their overnight coop, and they are outside during the day. It looks small in these pictures, but it is larger in real life.
Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! It took me ~2 days from start to finish, and I didn't have to purchase any materials! I either already had parts, or I got them for free.
