Our new chicken shack

Nice looking coop and good job on the stone retaining wall.

The coop is built like a pole barn with 4x4 in the ground, 2x4 studs , 1/2” in plywood for walls , and windows ( from Amazon specifically for coops@$45) the cage area is a dog kennel we purchased we use the panels for the dog kennel. It is a 4 x 6 kennel and we made it into a 5 x 8 as we only needed a three sides. The interior of the coupe I will post pictures later. It has a wood floor on 75% and a dirt area so they can bathe. We will be adding power to the inside so I can install my camera to watch them

Thank you we wanted to give it that old look and all the rock was harvested out of the hole. We dug out of the mountain to actually build the coop. We have to finish the electrical on the inside and add cameras to watch the chickens when we’re not out there.
