Additional Information | Municipal Code in Everett defines chickens as \"small livestock\". MC 6.04.04 specifies that if 6 or less small livestock animals are kept, no license/permit is needed. Litters under 12 weeks of age do not count towards the number of small livestock, but other animal \"normally kept in cages, pens or hutches\" do - so consider rabbits a part of this count. Exceeding 6 small livestock animals will require you to get a kennel license. MC 6.04.060 specifies that the keeping of roosters is prohibited. NOTE : Small livestock and poultry specifically are not allowed in any mobile home parks. According to Animal Control codes, your \"small livestock\" may need to be licensed (much as a dog or a cat would) for the fee of $1 each, not to exceed $25. |
