Glenpool, Oklahoma Chicken Ordinance
1. Chickens must be "confined in an enclosure". No free eating the bugs in your back yard even if you have a 6' privacy fence and your chicken has a clipped wing so she cannot get out.
2. You must use an approved insecticide (just in case) to prevent an infestation even if you use diotemaceous earth in your pen. boxes on your chicken and feed it to your chicken.
3. All droppings from anywhere (Susan told me this) on your property must be removed to a location outside the city every two weeks. Even though my neighbor wants the litter to put on her flower and vegetable gardens.
3.Your yard is subject to an inspection by a control officer at any "reasonable" time of the day.
4. Coops must be 100 feet from your neighbors house. Even though we probably don't have any lots in our little town that will be able to meet that criteria. I was told that no permits have been issued since the ordinance was written about 2 years ago. I was the only one to even turn in an application after calling in to ask about it. I only did so because i overlooked the 100' regulation.
