There is nothing in the \"Animal\" section of the city ordinances in this link: http://library4.municode.com:80/def...87193d88c237583fd8bd241fa47ff6&infobase=16524 However, under the Zoning regulations it says: http://library4.municode.com:80/def...ba7b03ef0e8b4589bb94881663f0f3&infobase=16524 \"17.100.120. Keeping of livestock and poultry. A. With the exception of household pets, no livestock or poultry are to be kept on any lot of less than three acres in size. B. Any building used for housing livestock and poultry or the storage of fertilizer or manure is to be located not less than one hundred (100) feet from any property or street line. (Ord. 2000-4 (part), 2000)\" A small backyard coop that is kept clean and doesn\'t bother the neighbors will probably not cause any problems. I personally consider my three chickens as pets ![]() |
