This is my coop. It was here when we got here and it is a nice sized coop. Could easily fit 50 chickens in here. That’s how many we suspect lived in it originally. We have 28 chickens, 3 roosters that may be split up so it could end up with 26. We ordered a dog run for it and use electric fence when there is no snow or chicks because they can get out.
We have a hallway for people only that divides 2 chicken areas and is where you can collect the eggs. One, for the full grown chickens and the other, is a brooder, and can be used for new birds. I currently have 4 little chicks there. the image of the rooster and the hen are with them both in the side space. There is a perch in the side space as well. The run no longer has the duck house in it, and also has a metal roof on part of it. We are working to get some wire up to.
