Additional InformationZoning Division at 541-0756 Chickens are only allowed in one zoning district, \"F\" Farm. Roosters would be prohibited based on: Sec. 5-212. Disturbances unlawful. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor within the City any dog or other animal kept as a pet, which barks, howls or makes other noises by day or night which affect the peace and quiet of any person, persons or family. (Ord. No. 211, 7-25-1963; Ord. No. 1770, 2-11-1988) CHAPTER 5 ANIMALS AND FOWL Article I. In General Sec. 5-101. states fowl running at large; prohibited. Therefore no free ranging of chickens, appropriate coop/run must be used to contain chickens. CHAPTER 5 ANIMALS AND FOWL Sec. 5-203. specifies a license is required to keep chickens. ARTICLE II. RAT CONTROL Sec. 12-209. states that the storage of feed for chickens be kept and stored in rat-free and rat-proof containers, compartments or rooms, unless kept in a rat-proof building. (Ord.
