| Additional Information | NOISE ORDINANCE MAY APPLY TO ROOSTERS! Title 2, Chapter 2 Ordinance 200 Section D states that animals in areas zoned agriculture (AG) must be in pens and buildings that are no less than 100 feet from adjoining property line. Ordinance 200 Section E states that animals in areas not zoned as agriculture shall not exceed 6 adults and 14 chicks under the age of 8 weeks of age. They must be kept in a building and pen that at its nearest point is no closer than 50 feet from the adjoining residence. The floors must be of an easily cleanable construction and shall be maintained in a sanitary manner than is not dangerous or offensive by routine cleanings and removal of the droppings. The outside of the building must be screened to prevent the spread of flies and vermin. |
