Yea! I fianlly got to work on my new batam coop, it is made from our old swing set. It is about 5 x 9 and I am hoping to get about 8 or 10 batams in there. It has taken a couple of days but we finally got it done enough that my nine weekers can live in it, two of them will live there peramantly.

Here is the original swing set (ignore the peice of wood laying across there)

No criticism of any kind! How great to make something like that from what you already have! Excellent job, Corey! Hey, are you still wanting to be on the list for Suede's eggs? Send me an email and let me know. I'm still waiting for Velvet and Caroline to lay, but the Lt. Brahma, Miranda, lays every day. Can't be much longer now.

Thanks I am loving it and the price was cut down a ton by using the swing set.

I would love some eggs! Would it be possible to get some from Scout and his girls and Hawkeye and lexie too? I know I wouldn't be able to get them for a while just cause it isn't smart to hatch new pullet eggs but I'd love to get some when avalible.

Sure, hon, if you want to wait for Scout and his little ladies to get to laying age. They are 13 weeks old this week. If you want to wait for a mixture of Ameraucana, Barred Rock and Blue Orps, we can hold off till then.

Awsome!!!!!
good luck with thoes chickens.
you are very creative with makeing that.
You should probobly make a biigger run tho

if you are planing t free range them in the futer you should start traing
with a bigger run by takeing them out in the mornig and locking them in the coop at night.
do this for about 2 days
then you can free rannge them

Have Fun with your coop!!!!!!!!!
