LOL how did you get the chickens to keep the eyes on?....(or am i slow)
 
The "Pinless Peepers" have small, soft inserts which are attached in the hens nostrils. They seem to ignore them after just a few minutes and they don't peck their sisters. I just hot glued the "eyes" to the "Peepers" before I put them on.
