I had a chick hatch last night with no eyes. There is skin and fluff covering where the eyes should be. It runs around fine and peeps, but it is very freaky looking!! I will add pics later!
 
Whoa, that is freaky. Obviously the baby wouldn't be able to find food or water very well, maybe you should cull?

I think if i had one hatched out like that if i could get it ot learn where food and water is with sound (tapping) then i'd let it live and just not use it for breeding...it would sure be interesting to see.

Poor baby...that sounds really freaky. I personally would give him a chance though, s/he was strong enough to hatch and run around peeping, so I'd just watch and hope for the best. My DD loves special needs animals...
 
If its healthy you dont have to cull it as long as you dont mind a little extra work . If you put the food and water in the exact same place it just may learn where that is , there have been cats and dogs and such that learn the lay out of a room and walk around like they can see just fine.
