oh no i screwed up

ok i dint think nothing of but i gave my chicken a couple of there eggs from the fride that were like 3 weeks old and i dint have room for them, so i thew them at on the ground and when they busted the chickens went crazy eating ever bit of the eggs.. so today when i went to colect the eggs there waz none then i glansed over my shoulder and seen my hens devouer there own eggs,!!!! :mad:
so now they just eat every egg they lay.Is there any way i can stop them ????? HELP

Put golf balls in their nesting boxes.
Try to get the real eggs out as often as possible until it passes.
Might add some meat protein to their diet too.

The golf balls bounce their little brains when they peck at it (they think it's an egg). Call it instant negative feedback.

In the future, I suggest cooking the eggs...that way they don't associate it with their own eggs.
