these are my mud hens. They have not seen the Sunshine in Days. Water everywhere and there feathers are dragging in the Mud. How do you like these Orpington Muds?. We have had about 17 to 18 inches of rain Since Sat. Lots of flooding in our area and my pens are terrible.

Poor babies. It's been pretty nasty here too, but not that bad. That's alot of rain. But, they are beautiful even with mud bellies. Gorgeous birds, Julie.

Here's my mud hen, Rosalie. There is usually at least one deep mud puddle in the run and she is the one who always finds it! I know I shouldn't complain but sometimes I really hate all the rain we get up here in the NW

They're still beautiful.

I have mud delawares. They red mud shows up so nice on those bright white feathers too.
