I have no idea what to do for your peacocks but I know at least two members on here who would - Deerman and Peachick. Send them a PM and/or e-mail and they should be able to help you.

Keep the tylan in there drinking water and also give them two cc's of LA200 either a shot or down there mouth.

Don't worry about fertitly or eating the eggs for now . If you dont get some medicine in them QUICK your not going to have any birds by the look of that picture.
Don't mean to sound awful but it should of been treated before it got that bad.

Get the LA 200 in them quick it will work quicker that the tylan.....but keep the tylan in there water also

This is actually a good pic of him... I went out one day and both eyes were swollen shut and the nose built up with snot. I took him to the Vet and spent $150 on nothing... The Vet couldn't tell me and gave me some antibotics that didn't work and I put him on Tylan and getting better slowly.. But not as fast as I like.. He is down to 8lbs.. He is getting harder to treat - putting meds down the mouth... so I think that's a good sign... Birds are hardy...

Thanks for the info....

Give them the LA 200 for three or four days and the tylan and hopefully they will get better.
I would keep the tylan in their water for a couple weeks.

Hope it all works out for you and the birds

tylan 200, give him a shot 2 cc in the breast, then another 2cc 2 days later.

Would only treat the ones show sign of infection.

Shots will work faster than waiting for them drinking treat water.

Should see a big change in one day.

Thanks everyone!!!! So far just putting Tylan in the drinking water is making a difference... I treated them tonight..

What about no swelling in the eyes or snot coming out of the nose... But it sounds like they are slurping out of a straw? When they get excited like when I am trying to catch them and they have a hard time breathing and it sounds like a kid at the end of his drink slurping it with a straw.. Does that make sense?? Is that an air sac infection?

Good News Everyone !!!!! After putting Tylan down their throats last night (instead of giving a shot... cause I can not do that and was told it deteriates their breast muscle) Pretty Boy is walking outside in the sunshine this morning...

I need someone who can write me a detailed pretty much blunt email to the vet telling him that he needs to take the word EXOTICS off his add in the yellow pages and tell his staff if anyone calls about peacocks he doesn't know a DA___ Thing.... Cause I asked him about Tylan and had already ordered it and was waiting and afriad Pretty Boy wasn't going to make it that long I took him to that Vet... and it ended up costing me $150 for nothing... The Vet said Tylan was for gut problems and not sinus/respiratory problems.. As you see I ramble in my postings and need someone who can put it all together for me.... Usually my husband does that kind of thing for me, but I don't think I can wait till he gets home from work on Friday...

Yes down the throat is the best way, just with newbe I am always afraid they may not get past the wind pipe.

2nd best is the shot, and yes it can deteriate muscle,so be carefull about giving to many shots.

3rd is in the water, it just takes to long.
