This baby was born yesterday. I know the pics are terrible but these are the best of about 100 we tried to take with out terrible question.

Someone in chat suggested making a boot, but then I heard about misplaced achilles and decided to try my best at taking pics.

So, if you can make anything out, please let me know! I'm at a total loss but I don't want to lose this baby.

I've used a band-aid to bring his legs together as someone told me to do in chat. He isn't standing up and his feet are still in balls, but I'll give him a few hours and see what happens.

You can also tape the feet to cardboard with duct tape above and below, to flatten the toes. It will take them some time to learn to stand/walk this way.

I had a chick born with his legs some what sprawled out to the sides, I guess it may have been spraddle led, but his feet also folded over on themselves, I didn't attempt to fix it, by the way he was chirping constantly, I could tell it was in pain, so I had hubby put it out of it's misery.

I'm not ready to do that yet. This chick isn't chirping constantly, he seems pretty chill.

The joints were super infected and swollen, I had to put the chick down.

I haven't eaten so much as a chicken nugget in 15 years, I wasn't prepared to have to hurt one. This sucks.
