Does someone know: Is "dry stall" and PDZ the same thing?
I bought about 50 lbs of PDZ at the farm store, on advice from BYC posts, and sprinkle it in my Chicken house on the pine shavings litter and stir it up a bit. It seems to work well to cut down on the odor in the chicken house.

Just wondering if the two were one and the same.

No, they are different.

Stall Dry is DE and clay in tiny crumbles. It works GREAT!!!

PDZ is a powder and works great too.

I started out using PDZ which controlled odors well. Then my feed store
gave me a few free samples of Stall Dry to try. For smells they both
worked well but Stall Dry knocked out the flys too.

apparently there is another product called DRY STALL. I read only that it is volcanic ash. I am currently looking at a product called Barn Grip (feed store carries it for horse people) It has some type of lime (not sure what kind yet) and aggregate(sand?) but the package did say "warning contains silicates - known to cause lung disease" so.............. still searching

Is PDZ zeolite ( sp) ? I'm curious because I have zeolite ( sp) I use that when I vaccuum. I haven't run across PDZ in my travels yet, so I haven't inspected the bag

It's called...odorzout. It's got the queen of clean on the container. I use it when I vaccuum, and inside my dog crates. It works awesome. I was reading the ingredients on the container, and swore I saw someone mention PDZ was the same thing, but don't remember if I saw it here, or somewhere else LOL

It comes in a container with a shake top.
