Chick Days
Starts off inside the coop...
Olympia hops outside but no one follows, so she goes back in.
Then the Delawares start to get curious...
Once Lympy catches on, everyone gets excited.
But some aren't too sure...
"It's an awful long way down mommy..."
Soon everyone's outside, and Olympia takes her first dust bath in months. Feels good, huh Lympy?
The dirt she kicks up also has yummy bugs for the babies.
"Heyyyyy, whatcha got?"
Uh-oh! Something happened! Everybody freeze!
Turkey-mumma.
"STAY AWAY FROM MY CHICKS!!!!"
Then today...
"How much is that chicky in the window... dah dah dah..."

My mom (SeaChick) came up with a great way to keep the hens from getting the chick food. The chicks can go in and out, but the hens can't. As they grow, we cut doorways that they can fit through.
